This serene, elevated bathroom was an absolute joy to design. Our client and HouseHome leaned into the timeless glamour of the Deco era, layering architectural details and classic materials to create a sophisticated retreat. Crisp white subway tile with contrasting dark grout delivers that iconic rhythm, while the addition of wood accents introduces warmth and an organic counterbalance—a blend of vintage character and modern luxury that’s signature to HouseHome’s approach.

The true showpiece of the space is the authentic 1920s Deco mirror, a treasure HouseHome discovered on a sourcing trip. Its sculptural lines and aged patina bring instant soul to the room, grounding the design with historical authenticity that luxury homeowners value.

To infuse a bold, unexpected twist, we finished the ceiling in a rich emerald green, adding a dramatic splash of color that lifts the entire palette. This vibrant hue enhances the room’s serene atmosphere while reinforcing its boutique-hotel level presence.

The result is a modern luxury bathroom that feels both peaceful and expressive—a sanctuary tailored with signature detail for the homeowner! They could not be any more pleased!
