This achievement is a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence and the unparalleled level of service we provide to our clients.

We’ve grown HouseHome with client satisfaction as our number one priority. Our entire team pours our hearts into honoring the hopes and dreams of the dozens of design projects per year. We have a genuine interest and passion for leading families through what can be one of the most stressful and exciting times. Investing in updates to what is like your largest investment, your home or business, is a big deal. We understand the gravity of the hard-earned budgets we work with, and the spaces that you entrust to us. We also know the value and importance of quality products and trades that allow you to enjoy your home or business for many years to come.

We want to give you a peek into the secrets to our success! Here are the top 7 reasons HouseHome excels in Customer Service.

Personalized Approach

One of the cornerstones of our success is our personalized approach to interior design. We understand that every client is unique, with their distinct tastes, preferences, and lifestyle needs. From the initial consultation to the final reveal, we take the time to listen attentively to our client's visions and aspirations, ensuring that every design decision reflects their style and personality. Trends are important, but good foundational design will allow your home to ride the waves of fun home decor trends effortlessly.

Clear Communication

Effective communication is key to a successful client-designer relationship, and we pride ourselves on our ability to keep the lines of communication open at all times. From the outset of a project, we establish clear channels of communication, providing regular updates, progress reports, and opportunities for feedback. We believe that transparency and collaboration are essential for achieving our client's vision and exceeding their expectations. We treat our partnerships with contractors and vendors the same, with very open and honest communication, and an ability to collaborate effectively for our clients to give them the best experience and finished product possible!

Transparent Pricing and Budget Management

It’s important to us to provide transparent pricing and detailed estimates for all services, materials, and labor involved in the project whenever possible. We also strive to help clients set realistic budgets and offer guidance on cost-saving measures and investment-worthy design elements. We do regular check-ins to keep clients informed about any budgetary adjustments or unforeseen expenses that may arise during the project.

Collaborative Design Process

It’s our goal to foster a collaborative design process by involving clients in decision-making and encouraging their input and creativity. Our team creates incredible photorealistic renderings, and we present clients with multiple design options and alternatives, accompanied by clear explanations and visual references. It’s also important to take into account practical considerations such as functionality, comfort, and daily usability of all spaces. It’s our job to anticipate and accommodate special requests or requirements from clients, such as accessibility features or pet-friendly design solutions.

Quality Assurance and Follow-Up

We oversee and expect high-quality workmanship and attention to detail throughout every stage of the project from all parties involved. Our estimates include time for regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure adherence to design specifications.

Versatility in Design

Our portfolio is a testament to our ability to design amazing spaces that seamlessly blend modern aesthetics with vintage pieces, heirlooms, and historic charm. Our client onboarding process allows us to offer customized design solutions that reflect the individual tastes, personality, and lifestyle of each client. We love interior design, and we don’t follow a rubric for how we create each space. Every room, office, coffee shop, beach house, or French Chateau we’ve designed has been curated especially for the client with one-of-a-kind collection of furnishings, artwork, and decorative accents that tell the story of the client's life and interests.

Respect for History and Tradition

Christine began HouseHome as a furniture refurbishing business, and she had a deep love and passion for historic design and the preservation of historical structures. We often create designs that bring back authentic elements of the decade the house was built! It’s our heart to show reverence for the history and heritage of a space by researching its architectural style, historical significance, and cultural context. It’s why we always work collaboratively with clients to understand the sentimental value of heirlooms and vintage pieces, incorporating them into the design narrative with care and respect.

We are deeply grateful for the honor of being recognized as a leader in our industry and look forward to continuing to serve our clients with passion, creativity, and dedication for many years to come!

What's your Favorite Style for Christmas 2023? by House Home

We all enjoy holiday decorations, but which warms YOUR heart most? You probably have a mix of decor from years of trends and collecting fun impulse buys while shopping, and heirlooms that evoke nostalgia and joy. If you prefer one style over the others, incorporate it into your décor little by little this season to create a statement design to wow your holiday guests and keep your family cheerful all season long. Read on for inspiration and ideas to add festive charm to your favorite style!

Glam

Glitter cone trees, shiny gold metal reindeer, glass, and feathered white ornaments… bring on the sparkle! Glam Christmas is ever-so sophisticated, and elegant. For those drawn to decadent textures, shine, and sparkle, glam is for your fam! Start with silver and gold as the base for all of your decor plans, and throw in some plush cashmere or velvet in blues, purple, or hues of pink for a dramatic pop of color. Don’t forget the satin ribbon for a high-class finishing touch! A flocked Christmas tree is a must to showcase all of the glitter!

Tip: To make your decor more glamorous, consider focusing on one area like the mantle, the tree, or the dining table. Your local home decor stores typically carry affordable sparkly cone trees, and other gold and silver tabletop decor. Joann carries a large selection of satin and sparkly ribbons to add to your tree, presents, or table. Consider tying some luxurious ribbon around your silverware for a Christmas dinner party.

Farmhouse

Fancy not your thing? If the idea of a log cabin Christmas gives you warm fuzzies, perhaps Rustic/Farmhouse is the Christmas style for you. Focused on things from nature, this holiday decor style brings the outdoors in. Pine cones, eucalyptus garlands, berries, twine, anything natural and textured! Vintage table linens, wooden bowls to hold pomegranates or oranges, real-wax candles, and presents wrapped in butcher paper with plaid ribbon…these are a few of our favorite farmhouse things. Add an ole red pick-up truck to the scene and you’ll seal the style.

Tip: Hobby Lobby has burlap and plaid bows to add to your Christmas tree, door knobs, or wreaths. You can also grab the clippers and head out in your own yard to snip some boxwood greenery for a table runner. Or save the clippings off the bottom of your Christmas tree and display them on your mantel. Pick up some red berries from a craft store to complete the red/green combo. A local hike or walk around the neighborhood might land you some perfect pinecones!

Classic Traditional

If a red and green color combo is a MUST for you at Christmas, you’re a traditionalist at heart.

History Lesson: red and green became the color symbols of Christmas long ago. First, evergreen and holly berries were used during ancient Celtic winter solstice celebrations. Then medieval partitions in churches were painted green and red. And in 1931, Coca-Cola’s Santa illustrated by Haddon Sundblom entered the scene. This jolly santa adorned in red, affront evergreens, solidified the two colors in our minds as the original colors of Christmas.

Other elements that compose a classic Christmas include bells, candy canes, snow globes, angels, and quaint, dimly-lit Christmas village displays.

Tip: Incorporate traditions into your decor by getting an ornament each year that reflects what was significant to each family member that year. For example, a snowman for a baby who loves the snow or a Starbucks ornament for a busy hubby who puts in hours at this popular coffee shop. Add plush garland to the mantle, buffet, or entry bench to elevate the traditional look (Williams Sonoma).

Vintage

To capture the nostalgia of Christmases past, create an enchanting vintage-style holiday with ceramic trees, plastic Santas, pink and blue hues, and glimmering tinsel. Don’t forget the quilted tree skirt! Illuminate the space with bubble lights and bring traditional German glass-blown ornaments into the mix. Rekindle your fondest childhood memories or memories of others before your time, and evoke the nostalgia of the season.

Tip: To add a retro touch to your Christmas decor, visit estate sales, and local antique stores such as The Pink Attic Cat or  Red Apron Vintage. You can also find many treasures online from Amazon, Etsy, and eBay.

 Modern

Modern is minimal and very clean lines. It often pushes the envelope of traditional–black or ombre Christmas trees, for instance. If you prefer less embellishment, and neutrals–black, gray, and creams over bold green and red combos, modern decor could be the wonderland for your winter.

Tip: Declutter. To modernize your holiday space, consider not using ALL of your decorations this year. Put only red balls on the tree, or only the lights. If needed, add a few geometric trees to the mantle and let them take the stage alone (Crate&Barrel and West Elm ).
